Fauxwurx Associates, L.L.C. is a central Virginia based company that specializes in providing professional artistic painting such as murals and decorative finishing to residential and commercial clients.

James Clifton Jr. is the creative force that allows Fauxwurx to bring the highest level of expertise to everything from children’s room murals to incredibly detailed period murals. His limits are defined only by the limits of your imagination.

As you will see in the faux finish galleries, Fauxwurx also provides the highest quality specialty wall finishes such as Venetian plasters, plaster embossing, custom stencils, marbleizing and paint or crème based glazes for nearly every surface of your space and even on furniture or cabinetry.

The portrait gallery displays only a fraction of the commissioned portraits that James has completed in graphite or oils, on canvas or other substrates which can be done in our studio from a photograph or in your home.
